Clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) is widely associated with dysregulation of the VHL (Von Hippel-Lindau) pathway, leading to overexpression of HIF-2α, which activates multiple oncogenic pathways. Targeting HIF-2α, with therapies such as belzutifan, has brought new hope to VHL patients and renal cancer patients alike.
